A person is shown driving a 2023 Toyota bZ4X Limited.

Drivers for Uber and other ridesharing services require reliable, comfortable, and efficient vehicles. Given Toyota’s reputation for building incredibly dependable cars and SUVs, it is no surprise that Toyota models are commonly found shuttling passengers around the New York City metropolitan area. However, Toyota’s latest model might be the best yet. The Toyota bZ4X is a fully electric SUV that’s roughly the same size as the popular RAV4, and it’s eligible for UberX, Uber Comfort, and Uber Comfort Electric. This SUV will let you transport passengers, their shopping, and their luggage in style while saving you money on operating costs, and the team here at Westchester Toyota can’t wait to show you everything that it has to offer thrifty rideshare drivers.

What Is the Toyota bZ4X?

The name “bZ4X” might sound like a mouthful, but it tells you everything you need to know about this surprising model. It stands for “Beyond Zero RAV4-Size Crossover,” with “Beyond Zero” being the name for Toyota’s new generation of all-electric vehicles. Measuring 184.6 in in overall length, this five-seat compact SUV is a touch longer than the RAV4, making it a roomy and agile vehicle for the streets of NYC. Inside, it offers 38.6 in of front legroom, 37.1 in of rear legroom, and 27.7 cu.ft. of trunk space, so you will have plenty of space for passengers and their cargo, even if they’re heading to LaGuardia with suitcases.

As a fully electric vehicle, the bZ4X doesn’t have a gasoline engine but instead relies on a large battery pack and electric motors for propulsion. Two different powertrain configurations are available. The standard model comes with a 71.4 kWh battery pack and a single electric motor powering the front axle. This is the more affordable and slightly more efficient option. You can also upgrade to a 72.8 kWh battery pack with electric motors on both axles for all-wheel drive performance. Many Uber drivers prefer the front-wheel drive model, but if you want superior handling in New York winters, remember that all-wheel drive is available.

One of the major advantages of an all-electric powertrain is that it produces zero emissions, which is particularly important in densely populated areas like NYC. In order to increase the number of zero-emissions vehicles on the streets, NYC has launched the Green Rides Initiative, which aims to convert 100% of rideshare vehicles to zero-emissions models by 2030. The plan starts by requiring 5% of rideshare trips to be made with zero-emissions vehicles in 2024, and ramps up from there. By opting for the bZ4X, you will be one of those zero-emissions drivers and have the potential to be prioritized for customers as Uber raises the percentage of zero-emissions trips.

How Does the bZ4X Save You Money?

One of the top concerns for rideshare drivers is keeping operating costs low. Toyota’s lineup of efficient gasoline and hybrid models is popular because they burn relatively little gas and are extremely reliable. But the bZ4X goes a step further. Because it is an all-electric vehicle, you obviously will not need to pay for gasoline; however, it also requires even less maintenance than a standard Toyota model. Because electric vehicles do not require oil changes and regenerative braking puts less strain on the mechanical brakes, there is very little scheduled maintenance to worry about. In fact, the service schedule only calls for visually inspecting the vehicle and rotating the tires every 5,000 miles, replacing the cabin air filter every 30,000 miles, and changing the heater coolant at 100,000 miles.

When it comes to fuel costs, the 2023 bZ4X is rated at 119 MPGe, using an estimated 28 kWh of electricity every 100 miles. That’s twice as efficient as the Toyota Prius and four times more efficient than the RAV4. With the average electricity rate in Yonkers currently hovering around 28¢ per kWh, it costs around $7.80 to drive 100 miles in the bZ4X. In contrast, with gas costing around $3.60 per gallon, it would cost roughly $12.00 in an RAV4. If you drive 50,000 miles a year (not an uncommon number for a full-time Uber driver), you will spend around $6,000 on gasoline with an RAV4 but just $3,900 on electricity with a bZ4X. That’s an extra $2,100 worth of profit that goes directly into your pockets, even before considering that the RAV4 would need 10 oil changes in that time.

bZ4X Range and Charging

The most significant difference in driving an EV rather than a gasoline model (other than the large savings on operating expenses) is thinking about range and charging. Fortunately, the 2023 Toyota bZ4X has plenty of range and is convenient to charge. The standard front-wheel drive model is rated for 252 miles of range, while the all-wheel drive version gets an estimated 228 miles of range. Given that even driving 50,000 miles a year, five days a week, only works out to 192 miles a day, you will likely never need to recharge your bZ4X while you are on the clock. Instead, you can charge at home while you sleep and start each day with a full battery. That might even mean you can get another ride in rather than swinging by the charging station to top off before you begin driving.

When charging at home, the bZ4X uses a standard J1772 plug for Level 1 or Level 2 charging. Level 1 charging is the slowest option, taking roughly 50 hours to recharge from empty to 100%, but it only requires a standard 120V household outlet, making it a convenient way to get some range in an emergency. Level 2 charging is what most EV owners rely on, and a Level 2 charger can be easily installed in any home with 240V service. It can bring the bZ4X from empty to 100% in approximately 9.5 hours, which is perfect for recharging while you sleep. There are also Level 2 public charging stations, and it can be a good idea to learn where they are located so you can plug in and get a little more range while you are waiting for your next Uber fare.
The final charging option is Level 3 DC Fast Charging, which is only found at public charging stations. The bZ4X is compatible with CCS charging stations, which includes most independent public charging networks, as well as Tesla Superchargers fitted with a Magic Dock adapter.
Using DC Fast Charging, front-wheel drive bZ4X models can recharge at a rate of up to 150 kW, taking the battery from empty to 80% in just 30 minutes. All-wheel drive models are limited to charging at 100 kW, which means they take approximately an hour to reach 80% state of charge. In general, you will not want to rely on DC Fast Charging as a rideshare driver, but it is a handy option to have if you are running low on range and want to get a few more fares in rather than call it a day.

Let Us Show You the bZ4X!

If you want to take your rideshare gig to the next level, the bZ4X is here to help. Toyota is renowned for building some of the most reliable and efficient vehicles on the road, making the brand a go-to choice for Uber drivers. That same legacy of dependability underpins the new bZ4X, which means it’s a smart choice for drivers looking to go electric and keep more money in their pockets. Not having to pay for gasoline and regular oil changes can mean thousands of extra dollars of profit for an Uber driver, and the convenience of not needing to visit a gas station can even help you squeeze more rides into your schedule. If you are interested in seeing the bZ4X for yourself, swing by Westchester Toyota and let us show you everything that it has to offer!

A red 2023 Toyota RAV4 Prime is shown driving away from a Toyota dealer near White Plains, NY.

The RAV4 is a spirited compact SUV that’s been an important part of Toyota’s history. When it debuted in 1989, the RAV4 was something of a trendsetter in the body-on-frame SUV market because it was instantly clear that it was more fuel-efficient and nimble than other options at the time. Meanwhile, it still offered plenty of space and rugged abilities, making it great for both city streets and unpaved rural roads.

The RAV4 quickly became one of Toyota’s best-selling vehicles and continues to be popular among those who don’t want to sacrifice performance for fuel economy or comfort for easy-to-handle dimensions. If you’re looking for a Toyota dealer near White Plains, NY, that can tell you all about the RAV4 in its many renditions—of which there are several terrific options—we’re the team to work with.

The RAV4 is available in its traditional gas-engine form, as well as a hybrid and plug-in hybrid (PHEV) powertrain. Each model is competitively priced and offers performance features that are ready for the busy streets of the inner city or the more rural environments at the many great places to explore to our north, like the Catskills or the Hudson Highlands. If you live in this part of Westchester County and want a vehicle that’s as dynamic as the city, we would love to show you the RAV4. There are many reasons we think it’s one of the best vehicles for our area.

Powertrains Made for Suburban Roads

The RAV4 is available with a gas, hybrid, or PHEV powertrain. Here’s why we love this for White Plains drivers… The gas engine model gets a solid fuel economy, so if you’re still most comfortable driving a combustion engine vehicle, you can go far without having to pull over for fuel. It gets particularly impressive fuel efficiency on the highway, so it’s ready for long commutes on the I-84 or I-287. The gas-engine RAV4 also has the lowest MSRP among the powertrain options, making it a great choice for those devoted to their financial planning.

We always get excited when drivers who spend a lot of time in Manhattan ask us about the RAV4 Hybrid. Because hybrid vehicles recapture battery energy via regenerative braking, the stop-and-go nature of NYC driving is actually beneficial to the RAV4 Hybrid. If you know about the horrible traffic on I-684, then you know you can barely remove your foot from the brake for more than a second—but you can at least know that, with the RAV4 Hybrid, you’re sending energy to the battery each time you do. So even if you can’t make the time pass any more quickly, you can at least know you’re boosting your fuel efficiency. (That said, the available JBL Premium Audio system is pretty exceptional for making traffic more tolerable.)

Drivers who opt for the RAV4 Prime will also like knowing that there are officially more electric charging stations than gas stations in New York City. So, if you spend time in the city, you’ll never have to worry that there isn’t a charging station nearby when your battery is low—although, as a PHEV, you won’t be stranded if you put off recharging. Likewise, you won’t be subject to gas price upcharging that can happen within the city, as you can wait until you’re on the outskirts before refueling!

Designed for Urban Parking and Exurban Exploration

The RAV4’s versatility cannot be overstated. It almost seems to defy physics with its comfortably spacious interior and compact dimensions. Even your rearmost passengers will be happy; meanwhile, you’ll find it easy to weave in and out of congested NYC streets and get into those highly competitive parking spots.

If you want the best vehicle for breaking out of White Plains from time to time, the RAV4 is great for that, too. The Delaware Water Gap—with its hiking trails and picnic settings—is just about an hour and a half drive away; load up the configurable cargo area of the RAV4 with a cooler full of snacks or hiking gear and take a ride. When the roads become less predictable, you’ll love the available all-wheel drive that will give you traction when you need it; that feature is useful no matter where you are—in or out of Westchester County—when that classic “East Coast winter” hits. When the roads get snowy, you’ll need dependable all-wheel drive to keep you in command.

We also like to point out the impressive ground clearance on the RAV4. It’s great for snowy wonderlands and the city alike. Good ground clearance makes it less likely that snow piles or potholes impact your vehicle’s undercarriage. In the city, if you drive over NYC’s notorious asphalt craters, your vehicle is less likely to suffer damage with high ground clearance.

A close-up of the dashboard screen in the interior of a 2023 Toyota RAV4 Prime is shown.

Several Winter-Ready Components

Winters can be brutal in White Plains—that’s no secret. Luckily, the RAV4 has available front and rear outboard heated seats to keep everyone warm and cozy on those beautiful but freezing New York winter days. It also has available dual-zone climate control with rear vents, so you and your passenger can set your ideal temperature, and rear seat passengers won’t be complaining that they can’t feel the air.

On the outside of the RAV4, you’ll find Wildpeak All-Terrain tires, which provide excellent traction in snow. So when you get that first fresh powder, and the snow plow hasn’t come down your street yet, you should still be able to make it to your appointments.

Navigate Infamous Traffic on a Large Touchscreen

Nobody likes to be gridlocked in New York during rush hour. However, if you have a favorite navigation app that can help you get out of the traffic, you can easily use it in the RAV4. Wireless smartphone compatibility means you can sync your device via the massive touchscreen; from there, you’ll see the turn-by-turn directions, traffic updates, and other tips populate the screen. That should help you rapidly figure out what surface or side streets to take to avoid congestion.

White Plains Residents, Check Out the RAV4 Today

We’re excited to introduce White Plains residents to the incredibly versatile, fuel-efficient, and well-priced RAV4. There aren’t many other vehicles out there that are so well equipped to handle both the congested streets of New York and the wintery slopes of its suburbs. It’s no wonder the RAV4 is a top seller for Toyota, and we are the dealership to work with if you want to meet with experts about this SUV. A member of our team would be glad to explain the different trim options to you and help you decide which one is right for your needs.

We will also get a sense of your driving habits so we can help you decide if the traditional, hybrid, or PHEV RAV4 is best for you. Living in White Plains gives you access to the excitement of the Big Apple, but it also puts you in close proximity to stunning natural destinations. You need a vehicle that can handle both, and the RAV4 is that vehicle.

Westchester Toyota has new RAV4 models arriving daily, and we offer excellent pricing options on this dynamic compact SUV. Visit us today, and drive home in your new RAV4.

A red 2023 Toyota RAV4 Prime is shown on a modern driveway at night.

We here at Westchester Toyota—your local Toyota dealer—have a wide range of EV options available in various shapes and sizes. Two of the most popular options for people looking for fuel-efficient SUVs are the RAV4 Hybrid and the RAV4 Prime. This makes perfect sense, as the 2023 Toyota RAV4 is the most popular compact SUV on the market, but these two models differ from their progenitor beyond more than just their powertrains.

The RAV4 Prime is the plug-in hybrid version of this popular peoplemover, while the RAV4 Hybrid combines the best of both worlds by getting you eco-power without the need for a plug. Both SUVs have much to offer buyers everywhere; both will save you money on fuel, but what you buy really depends on what you need.

Specs of the 2023 RAV4 Prime

The 2023 Toyota RAV4 Prime is the option people should get if they want a plug-in hybrid SUV. The 2023 RAV4 Prime has two trims, the first being the SE. According to MotorTrend, this version has a 2.5L inline four-cylinder PHEV setup with a maximum power output of 302 hp. It’s strictly available in all-wheel drive and uses a continuously variable-speed automatic transmission (CVT).

The other trim of the 2023 RAV4 Prime is the XSE. This version of the compact Toyota SUV has the same plug-in hybrid drivetrain, equally as powerful as the SE trim. The two trims’ primary differences will appear in their respective interiors. Overall, both options of the RAV4 Prime offer formidable engine setups. According to the automaker, the 2023 Toyota RAV4 Prime is the fastest from the vehicle’s lineup, as it accelerates from zero to sixty in about 5.7 seconds. The regular 2023 RAV4 manages the same feat in about 8.3 seconds.

A dark blue 2023 Toyota RAV4 Hybrid Woodland Edition is shown on a path after leaving a Toyota dealer.

Specs of the 2023 RAV4 Hybrid

The 2023 Toyota RAV4 Hybrid offers more trim levels than the Prime, but it’s a less powerful SUV. The RAV4 Hybrid has a 2.5L inline four-cylinder of its own but in a Hybrid design, generating a maximum power output of 219 hp. Again like the Prime, it uses a CVT and is strictly available in all-wheel drive. While just under a third less powerful, its fuel economy is still immaculate.

Buyers should note that all trims of the 2023 Toyota RAV4 Hybrid have the same powertrain. Regarding speed, the RAV4 Hybrid accelerates from zero to sixty in about 7.4 seconds; though not as swift as the RAV4 Prime, this is still marginally faster than the regular gas-powered version of the RAV4, as it takes the standard model about 8.0 seconds to reach this speed.

Fuel Economy Ratings

Fuel economy is possibly the most significant reason people buy hybrids. It’s a smart way to save at the pump without going all-electric, and it soothes the conscience about fossil fuel emissions. As many would guess, the 2023 Toyota RAV4 Prime achieves better fuel economy than the regular Hybrid version. The RAV4 Prime promises a range of 42 miles with the use of electricity only; this makes the Prime perfect for most drivers, as the Department of Transportation states that most people only drive about 37 miles daily. Of course, drivers also have the capabilities of a gas-powered vehicle thanks to its plug-in hybrid design.

The RAV4 Prime works best for people who primarily want to use the SUV as a full EV but want to use the gas-powered core as a bit of a range extender. However, the RAV4 Prime does have one significant drawback. Overall, it’s not a great vehicle for people who live in apartments. This is because owners will need to charge the SUV overnight, which isn’t typically feasible for apartment residents who don’t have garages or dedicated parking spots near outlets. Additionally, even if you can get to a public charger, it takes at least two and a half hours for the car to charge. For context, the Prime averages 38 MPG using fuel, while the regular RAV4 promises up to 34 MPG.

The RAV4 Hybrid grants a stunning 41 MPG in the city and 38 MPG on the highway. However, some trims, such as the Woodland edition, deliver a little less, at 38 MPG and 35 MPG, respectively. Both the Prime and Hybrid are great options for people who want to save money at the pump, but the RAV4 Hybrid might be more useful to a wider variety of people. Not having to plug in your vehicle will make ownership easier. Still, the Prime offers more than enough electric-only range for a day of modest driving.

A white 2023 Toyota RAV4 TRD is shown at a campsite.

Interior Accoutrements

The interior is perhaps where one of the most significant differences between these two Toyota SUVs exists. Both are excellent, and both have many features in common, but one has better interior technology than the other. It’s not a significant difference, but it does exist and will persuade some to buy it over the other.

As the name suggests, the RAV4 Prime has some features the Hybrid does not. The Prime has a 10.5-inch touchscreen if you buy the premium trim of the RAV4 XSE—although it is possible to get this same touchscreen on the Hybrid. Besides this, both SUVs offer modern and comfortable rides. They have various other options for safety features as well as creature comforts. Sure, there are better Toyota interiors than the RAV4, but the Hybrid and the Prime manage a lot with a little.

Safety & Reliability

You can count on practically any Toyota SUV for top-notch reliability. Luckily, this is also true for the RAV4 Prime and Hybrid. Of course, you don’t often fully know how reliable a vehicle will be until a few years after its purchase, but predicted reliability ratings can be great indicators. Both versions of the more fuel efficient 2023 RAV4 have an 81/100 predicted reliability rating from JD Power; because of this, reliability does not have to be a deciding factor between the two.

Regarding safety, both vehicles earn high marks from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS). In fact, the 2023 Toyota RAV4 Prime earned the highest honor from this bureau as it is the Top Safety Pick+ for its class; this means drivers can count on the plug-in hybrid model to safeguard them and their loved ones in even the direst circumstances. The RAV4 Hybrid isn’t far off, as it has an overall five-star rating from the IIHS; it only lost sharing the crown with the Prime due to slightly worse grading in the frontal and rollover categories.

Buyers who feel more comfortable getting the safest possible vehicle will probably prefer the RAV4 Prime. However, those eager to have any five-star SUV would be just as happy with the Hybrid. Both are among the safest compact SUVs on the market.

A close up shows the driver side headlight on a blue 2023 Toyota RAV4.

Affordability

Price may be one of the most logical deciding factors between the 2023 Toyota RAV4 Prime and its Hybrid cousin. The Prime is noticeably more expensive, with a starting price tag of $43,090.[a] This price difference makes sense as it has a few extra features, stronger performance, and a competent fuel economy. However, the RAV4 Hybrid’s starting price will be much more attractive to many buyers, as it starts at $31,225 and has a fairly similar fuel economy.[a]

Choosing Between the Prime and Hybrid…

Overall, these two compact SUVs have much in common. Like the regular RAV4, they deliver solid performance and are reliable vehicles. The main differences are their price and convenience. Stop by Westchester Toyota to see these two options in person.

We’re hoping that you read the previous posts regarding our 25th Giveback Donation Event. It took place Wednesday, August 22nd, and was a complete success! The Westchester Toyota family, community and recipients shared smiles as the county’s most deserving charities were granted a total of $8,000. Thank you to everyone who voted and showed support the past six months and on Wednesday. We couldn’t have done this without you!

25thGiveBackPhotoUpdate2

The public has voted for six months, all leading up to this Wednesday when the dealership will donate a total of $8,000 to three spectacular charities.

Westchester, New York – Westchester Toyota will be holding its 25th Give Back Donation Event at the dealership this Wednesday, August 22nd. As Westchester Toyota has donated nearly $70,000 to local charities since the program was created, the dealership has assured that this Silver Anniversary will be the hugest yet. To make this one extraordinary and incomparable from the rest, Westchester Toyota took a different approach. Instead of choosing three deserving nonprofits, which is what’s usually done for the Give Back Donation Event, the dealership nominated five remarkable nonprofits and allowed the public to choose the three that will receive donations. The dealership not only left the choice up to the public, but also extended the time allotted for the community to vote. That’s not all. As always, the amount of money rewarded will be based on the number of votes each charity receives on Westchester Toyota’s Facebook page. With fans voting for six months rather than the traditional three, the dealership knew this was the perfect and most appropriate opportunity to donate more to each charity. Added up, a total of $8,000 will be contributed to the public’s favorite charities.

Each organization is different and extremely special to Westchester County. The first and grand prize winner is My Brother Vinny. My Brother Vinny is a NYS nonprofit that distributes food, clothing, furniture and housewares to United States Veterans, outreach groups, shelters and local families. My Brother Vinny is known for many of its diverse and good acts, a couple being its annual walk and helping local animal shelters. The extremely respected organization received 6,405 votes and will be granted $5,000. The running-up charity is Paws Crossed Animal Shelter, which received an impressive 4,123 votes and will receive $2,000. Paws Crossed is dedicated to being a true no-kill animal rescue and has a mission to “rescue one by one until there are none.” Paws Crossed is a private organization that relies on donations, grants and fundraising alone. Lifting Up Westchester is the nonprofit in third place with 940 votes and will receive $1,000. Lifting Up Westchester helps those struggling to overcome poverty, homelessness and hunger by providing them with food, shelter and support. Through donations and volunteerism, Lifting Up Westchester works with all people in need to help them create healthier lives.

David Lee, General Manager of Westchester Toyota, says, “Wednesday is going to be legendary for us as a dealership. That may sound dramatic, but it’s really not. Our Give Back Program has come a long way, and we’ve waited for a chance like this to truly offer what the charities that serve our area deserve. We’ve always been extremely proud of our donations and love to see the smiles of charity representatives. But this time, the community was more involved with the voting and the event put us all on the edge of our seats. Through this program, our goal is to help and unite Westchester. We can’t wait to honor the deserving charities this Wednesday.”

Westchester Toyota is a full-service Toyota dealership located at 2167 Central Park Avenue in Yonkers, New York. Westchester Toyota’s goal is to always give the best customer service and fulfill every customers need, whether it be in the sales or service department.

The 2018 New York International Auto Show, held March 30th through April 8th, was an unforgettable event for Toyota. Reveals of The New 2019 Toyota RAV4 SUV and The New 2019 Toyota Avalon were surely highlights not only for the manufacturer, but also of the entire show.

The New 2019 Toyota RAV4 is different from any RAV4 before, but still similar in many aspects, as the automakers did not want to change the main selling points of this famous SUV. It is shorter in height, has a wider stance and overall sharper edges, allowing an SUV to appear sexy and trendy. It is 0.2 inches shorter and 0.4 inches wider than the previous version, giving this RAV4 a more planted, elegant look. The RAV4 looks most distinct from the front end, which is clearly much more angular than before, giving off a vibe of sophistication and class. In addition, its 2.5-liter 4-cylinder engine will promise more power and gas mileage.

The Avalon underwent quite the makeover, not to mention the all-new XSE that’s the most athletic Avalon yet. The New 2019 Toyota Avalon is both authentic and exhilarating with its new look and smart features. Its exterior is longer, lower and wider than before. Its rear cabin has been extended 7 inches, elongating the side quarter glass. Aside from its hot new look, the Avalon is more practical with its advanced technology. Its available LED Vision Tech headlamps are the most advanced lighting by Toyota. A 7-inch Multi-Information Display shows all necessary vehicle information, turn-by-turn navigation and several vehicle settings (including those regarding TSS, etc.).

Westchester Toyota will be holding its 25th Give Back Donation Event at the dealership this August 2018. This one will be different than the rest, as Westchester Toyota is making efforts for it to be extra special to celebrate that the dealership has donated nearly $70,000 to local charities since the program began. Instead of choosing three deserving nonprofits, as Westchester Toyota usually does for its Give Back Donation Event, the dealership has nominated five remarkable nonprofits and is allowing the public to choose the three that will receive donations. Not only has Westchester Toyota added on two charities to the running, but the dealership has also extended the time period allotted for the community to vote. As always, the amount of money rewarded will be based on the number of votes each charity receives on Westchester Toyota’s Facebook page. However, instead of the regular three month period that is given, fans will have six months to vote for their favorite charity. Voting opened February 1st and will close the end of July. The first and grand prize winner will be granted $5,000. The running-up charity will receive $2,000, and the charity that is third place will receive $1,000. The five organizations in the running are Paws Crossed, My Brother Vinny, Lifting Up Westchester, Westchester Parks Foundation and Yonkers Partners in Education.

Each organization is different and extremely special to Westchester County. Paws Crossed is dedicated to being a true no-kill animal rescue and has a mission to “rescue one by one until there are none.” Paws Crossed is a private organization that relies on donations, grants and fundraising alone. My Brother Vinny is a NYS nonprofit that distributes food, clothing, furniture and housewares to United States Veterans, outreach groups, shelters and local families. My Brother Vinny is known for many of its diverse and good acts, a couple being its annual walk and helping local animal shelters. Lifting Up Westchester helps those struggling to overcome poverty, homelessness and hunger by providing them with food, shelter and support. Through donations and volunteerism, Lifting Up Westchester works with all people in need to help them create healthier lives. Westchester Parks Foundation works to engage the public to advocate for and invest in the preservation, conservation, use and enjoyment of the 18,000 acres of parks, trails and open land that make up the Westchester County Park System. Yonkers Partners in Education has a mission to increase the number of Yonkers Public School students who complete a post-secondary program that prepares them for a successful career. YPIE partners with the Yonkers Public School District, business and philanthropic communities and higher education institutions to achieve its goal.

“We’re always excited for our Give Back Donation Event, but the anticipation is killing us this time!” says David Lee, General Manager of Westchester Toyota. He continues, “All five of these charities are amazing and already receiving a ton of votes on our Facebook page. It’s definitely going to be a close call and we’re eager to honor these organizations. Overall, though, we as a dealership feel extremely blessed and humbled to have contributed to and met the people of such exceptional charities 24 times, and we think the 25th will be great.”
