Shopping for a vehicle is a tricky game of chess, and if you have a boisterous amount of trim levels to look through, it can be a hard decision to make. You may face this if you’re looking at a Toyota Highlander for sale, given the number of trim levels this model comes in. Hybrid variants make for more than half of this list, so realistically, there are only five trim levels you need to know about: the LE, XLE, XSE, Limited, and Platinum. We have the scoop on all of them, so let’s get into it!

The Highlander LE

The 2024 Highlander’s base trim is the LE. The LE sets the stage and delivers an immaculate performance that will capture the minds of anyone who begins their shopping journey at the bottom of the list. With the LE, nothing about this “base” model feels cheap or lacks quality; instead, the base Highlander is an excellent culmination of features that make it a fantastic value.

The powertrain that comes with every gas-powered Highlander is a turbocharged 2.4L I-4 engine paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission. What the turbocharged 2.4L I-4 engine coming standard means is the LE outputting 265 hp and 310 lb-ft of torque. The Highlander comes in FWD but is available in AWD for greater traction.

An 8.0-inch infotainment center comes standard with the 2024 Highlander LE. In this infotainment center is world-renowned software like wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. A 7.0-inch Multi-Information Display is standard, too, and around the cabin are a total of five USB ports. Comfort is one of the highlights of the Highlander, and the LE is no exception, with an eight-way power-adjustable driver’s seat—and thanks to three-zone automatic climate controls, more people can cater their row to their preferred temperatures.

What also makes the 2024 Highlander LE a more appealing base model than most is that the Toyota Safety Sense 2.5 driver assistance suite comes standard. In addition to these features—like the Pre-Collision System, Lane Departure Alert, Lane Tracing Assist, etcetera—you also get a Blind-Spot Monitor with Rear Cross Traffic Alert standard. Regarding base models, it doesn’t get any better than the LE.

A man using the infotainment screen in a 2024 Toyota Highlander Platinum for sale.

The Highlander XLE

With the LE being such a fruitful trim, the XLE goes far to warrant being the one-up, and it all comes down to a dash of luxury. For example, SofTex-trimmed seats in the first and second rows come standard, so instead of cloth, you now have a high-quality seating material that’s the perfect balance between real leather and cloth. With SofTex, you have a material that’s not only somewhat indiscernible from genuine leather but one that’s easier to clean.

What’s also different between the LE and XLE is the latter uses a more customizable and versatile ten-way power-adjustable driver’s seat, and power lumbar support is added for good measure. Like the LE, the XLE has seating accommodations for up to eight passengers. Also coming standard with the 2024 Highlander is a wireless phone charging pad, and an available 12.3-inch infotainment center can replace the 8.0-inch one found in the LE. Ultimately, the XLE is a solid upgrade over the LE.

The Highlander XSE

The XSE is the Highlander trim that isn’t for the faint of heart. What we mean by this is that off-roading capabilities take center stage with the XSE. It all starts with the 20-inch wheels and the sport-tuned front suspension with a stabilizer bar; there’s also a trailing-wishbone rear suspension, and who can say no to that twin-tip exhaust in the back? Complementing its lofty ambitions is a sleek and sporty aesthetic unlike any of the other trims, including a specially designed front grille, spoiler, bumper, and more.

The XSE also has a Dynamic Torque Vectoring AWD system, which is a specially designed take on AWD that has more in common with 4WD thanks to an independent torque distribution to each rear wheel, which greatly enhances traction in off-road scenarios. The XSE trim also has roof rails installed by default, and LED headlights also come standard. Although the XSE lowers the seating capacity from eight down to seven, the XSE allows for optional amenities like genuine leather seats and a premium eleven-speaker sound system from JBL.

The Highlander Limited

The Limited trim adds even more premium features. In addition to all of what we’ve mentioned so far, the Limited has even more you can look forward to—especially with tech. The Limited trim has a 12.3-inch Digital Gauge Cluster, so instead of old-school analog gauges, all of your statistics—like speed, mileage, fuel efficiency, and RPM readings—will be digitized on your dashboard.

Standard with the Limited are genuine leather seats for the first and second row; this is the first trim of the bunch that has them built in by default. The ten-way power-adjustable driver’s seat with lumbar support comes standard, along with the eight-way power-adjustable front passenger seat. What’s different with the driver’s seat, however, is that the one in this trim has memory functions: you can save your preferred adjustment and return to it after someone else has used your car and moved your chair.

The Limited goes further and has some interesting features that differentiate it from the other trims we’ve discussed. A panoramic view monitor comes standard with the Limited, which allows you to have more camera angles you can view through your infotainment center, including front, side, and back. When put together, you have a better understanding of your surroundings on the road, which helps you succeed in safe travel. With the backup camera, the Limited also uses grid lines to help with reversing out of a parking space.

The Highlander Platinum

It’s rather easy to sum up the 2024 Highlander Platinum. This is the priciest trim, but it is deserving of its name, “Platinum,” for not only does it include features like the 12.3-inch Digital Gauge Cluster, the excellent 12.3-inch infotainment center, and the standard leather seats for the first and second row—among others—but it has even more to give.

What does the Platinum trim have that the others don’t? Firstly, a 10.0-inch head-up display; this is a projection that appears on your windshield, only visible from your position—and thanks to its transparent design, it won’t get in the way of your visibility, nor will it be distracting enough to steal your attention off the road. You’re more likely to be distracted looking down at gauges—digital or otherwise—than refocusing your eyes on the numbers projected on your windshield.

The Platinum trim also has a panoramic glass roof, which adds heaps of natural light to your cabin—and thanks to the power-tilt/slide function, you can let fresh air in, too. With the Platinum trim, you’re also getting LED fog lights and rain-sensing windshield wipers, and the height-adjustable power liftgate makes a world of difference in times when your hands are full but you need access to the back of your car.

Which Highlander Trim Calls to You?

Now that you know about the selection of trims for the 2024 Highlander, it’s time to hunker down and decide which one suits you best. With that said, your decision should wait until you’ve spent some time sitting inside a Highlander and you’ve taken it for a test drive. If you’re buying a new 2024 model, choosing your trim is a crucial choice, so we hope this guide has provided you with some insight!

A grey 2024 Toyota Grand Highlander Platinum Hybrid MAX towing jet skis past a body of water.

If you’re looking for a Toyota Highlander for sale, then you’ve come to the right place. Here at Westchester Toyota, we have a wide selection of Toyota Highlanders and Toyota Grand Highlanders at your disposal. However, how do you go about knowing which SUV to get? While test-driving can be a huge sway in the tug of war in your family, we’re here to let you in on the big secret between these two models. The main differences between the Highlander and the Grand Highlander are their capabilities, features, spaciousness, and design. The Grand Highlander offers more room and bonus interior comforts, making it an excellent upgrade for any Toyota fan.

Comparing Design

Both SUVs, and it may not come as a surprise, have very familiar profiles. They could even pass for twins. However, the main difference that you’ll find is the overall size itself, with the Grand Highlander being 6.5 inches longer and 2.3 inches wider. You’ll also find that the Grand Highlander is about two inches taller than the Highlander. Other than that, they are very similar in design, though minor details like color options, grille styles, light shapes, and wheel choices can make these vehicles unique in their own way. However, you’d definitely be able to pick out these two as relatives in a room full of Toyotas.

Comparing Capabilities

If you are choosing to check out three-row SUVs, you are likely looking for a few capabilities to meet the needs of you and your family—things like space to fit everyone, a cargo hold to carry everything with you, and towing capacity that will allow for fun getaways. When it comes to the 2024 Highlander and Grand Highlander, these vehicles have the same towing capacities. With their standard engines (and the Grand Highlander’s optional i-FORCE MAX engine), you’ll find some impressive muscle that provides 5,000 lbs of hauling capability. However, there are slight sacrifices when you choose to go greener with a hybrid. On both vehicles, when using the optional hybrid powertrain, you’ll find the towing capacity is reduced to 3,500 lbs, which (don’t get us wrong) is still quite a win. These capabilities allow both the Highlander and Grand Highlander to handle light-weight and (some) mid-weight towing.

The cargo space is one of the most important things to figure out between these two related SUVs. Of course, the Grand Highlander, being (well) grand, has a bit more space to offer than its smaller sibling. With all three rows up and available for passengers, the cargo hold is 20.6 cu.ft., which is enough space to fit simple items like luggage, groceries, some small sports gear, the kid’s science project, etc. However, when the third-row seats are folded, you open that space to 57.9 cu.ft., and folding the second-row seats offers a maximum cargo space of 97.5 cu. ft. Now, the Highlander also packs plenty of adequate space, although it is slightly less. Normally, the cargo hold will offer 16 cu.ft., while folding the third row will provide 48.4 cu.ft. With both rear rows folded, you will have a max of 84.3 cu.ft. of space. Both vehicles are able to provide exceptional room and a versatile interior to handle all of your family’s needs.

Comparing Power and Efficiency

The 2024 Toyota Highlander and the 2024 Grand Highlander have a lot in common. If you’re looking at what makes them so similar, then you’ll notice the standard 2.4L turbocharged I-4 engine with 265 hp and 310 lb-ft of torque to make the drive exciting and fun. This engine can be swapped out for a 2.5L hybrid powertrain that provides 243 hp in the Highlander and 245 hp in the Grand Highlander. However, the Grand Highlander also has a third powertrain option that is not available on the Highlander: the 2.4L turbocharged i-FORCE MAX hybrid. This engine provides higher performance with 362 hp and 400 lb-ft of torque for smooth handling and exceptional acceleration. These high-performing SUVs are able to keep up with more aerodynamic vehicles despite being three-row models with a bulkier build.

If you’re looking for similarities between these two 2024 SUV models, you’re in luck because they have familiar fuel efficiency to take you farther than some previous models. The 2024 Highlander, with its standard engine, gets an EPA-estimated 25 MPG combined in its front-wheel drive configuration. That’s 22 MPG in the city and 29 MPG on the highway. When switching to all-wheel drive, you’ll get an estimated 24 MPG combined, or 21 MPG in the city and 28 MPG on the highway. You will find that the hybrid option can offer better fuel efficiency at 36 MPG combined with front-wheel drive or 35 MPG combined with all-wheel drive.

The 2024 Grand Highlander is slightly less efficient, with an estimated 24 MPG combined (21 MPG in the city and 28 MPG on the highway), which makes sense given its larger size. Its all-wheel drive option for the standard engine brings this down to 23 MPG combined. When looking at its 2.5L hybrid engine, the front-wheel drive configuration offers 36 MPG combined, 37 MPG in the city, and 34 MPG on the highway. The all-wheel drive variant offers 34 MPG combined. Finally, the i-FORCE MAX engine is only available with all-wheel drive and provides an estimated 27 MPG combined, with 26 MPG in the city and 27 MPG on the highway. Overall, both models are fairly comparable, with the smaller Highlander offering a bit more efficiency.

Comparing Features

The main thing you’ll notice when you hop into these vehicles are the large 12.3-inch touchscreen displays that are in charge of your connectivity. However, keep in mind that the 12.3-inch display is only available on certain trims when looking at the 2024 Highlander, which comes standard with a smaller eight-inch display. The Grand Highlander comes standard with this feature, as well as a wireless charging pad.

Of course, the two models also have similar safety features that assist you when you’re on the road, like Pedestrian Detection, Rear Cross-Traffic Alert, Blind Spot Monitor, and more that will make you feel more confident on and off the road. Or, keep things spacious and outdoorsy with the available panoramic sunroofs that can be found on both models. This is a fun feature that can change the mood of your day with ease.

These vehicles, the 2024 Highlander and 2024 Grand Highlander, are very comparable. They are versatile, functional, and fun. With so many features and capabilities, these three-row SUVs provide convenience, comfort, and value to your drive. However, the Grand Highlander comes standard with a bit more as befits its higher price tag.

The Highlander vs Grand Highlander

It is no secret that the Highlander and Grand Highlander are closely related—it’s right there in the name, after all. The main difference lies in their size, with the Grand Highlander offering extra cabin room and cargo space. Otherwise, they are very similar in terms of performance, power, and capabilities. When it comes to discovering which vehicle is right for you, the answer is that it depends. If you need extra space for passengers and cargo, then you’ll want to go with the Grand Highlander; if you don’t, then you’ll be fine with going home with the Highlander. Ready to get on the road? We’re waiting to help you today!

Compact SUVs are quickly becoming the adventurer’s vehicle of choice. These models combine the capabilities of SUVs with the fuel economy of cars, making them perfect for the long freeway stretches between your home and destination, as well as for the rougher roads you might find once you get there.

We see a lot of outdoor enthusiasts at our dealership who want to check out a Toyota RAV4 for sale but are also considering the Chevy Equinox. Both are well-priced options from trusted names, making them worthy contenders for your next great adventure vehicle. However, in taking a closer look at the unique features each one has to offer, we are confident that the RAV4 is the better option for drivers who escape the city on a regular basis. So, let’s review the attributes we think adventurers will be glad to call their own with a new RAV4…

In Terms of All-Wheel Drive

Both of these vehicles make all-wheel drive available for their powertrains. This means that you can get traction on all four of your wheels evenly. If you plan on leaving paved roads for dirt ones (or other bumpy, slippery surfaces), an all-wheel drivetrain would be a great investment; without it, poor road or weather conditions could cause you to lose traction, putting you at risk of spinning out or getting into a collision.

Here’s where the RAV4 stands out: it has available torque-vectoring all-wheel drive. This special system sends torque independently to each rear wheel, adjusting for road conditions. So, while standard all-wheel drive simply sends the same amount of torque to all of your wheels at the same time, torque-vectoring all-wheel drive monitors the road conditions and understands just which wheel needs just what amount of torque.

So, why does having torque-vectoring all-wheel drive matter? Because it lets you keep steering your vehicle exactly as you want to, without any sudden pulling one way or another. Not surprisingly, you’ll find it on the TRD Off-Road trim, which is specifically designed for unruly road conditions. So, while the Equinox might be okay on a simple dirt road, it can yield a pretty rough ride on more untamed off-road surfaces.

The black interior of a 2024 Toyota RAV4 TRD is shown from the passenger side.

Concerning Their Fuel-Efficient Variants

If drivers look to these vehicles to explore remote places, deep in nature, then it’s likely in line with their customers’ sympathies for automakers to provide hybrid or electric variants of their most popular models. People who visit nature tend to care about the planet and might not want to pollute pristine destinations with fumes from traditional gas engines.

Thus, both the Equinox and the RAV4 have alternative fuel versions. However, the RAV4 gets drivers two options, whereas the Equinox only gets drivers one. Not only that, but the options are completely different.

The RAV4 is available as a plug-in hybrid (PHEV) and a hybrid (HEV). Meanwhile, the Equinox is only available in a pure EV, meaning there’s no gas engine in it whatsoever. What does this mean for drivers? Well, it means that if you’re driving the Equinox, you’d better make sure you hit the road with a full battery charge—at least for your out-of-town excursions—or you can pray you’ll find a charging station along the way. They are easier to find today than they used to be, but gas stations are, of course, still far more abundant than EV charging stations.

When you’re driving an HEV or a PHEV, you can rely on the motor or the gas engine to keep you going. So, if you find that your battery is running low, you can switch to relying on traditional fuel. A lot of this is a matter of preference, but many drivers find pure EVs more limiting than HEVs or PHEVs. For now, the Equinox only comes in either a 100% gas engine model or as a pure EV. The RAV4 comes in a pure gas engine model, an HEV, and a PHEV, so you can rely on gas, regenerative braking, plug-in charging, or some combination of these to get where you’re going.

If you do choose to go with the traditional gas model of either of these vehicles, you will still enjoy excellent fuel economy figures. But, for those looking for an alternative powertrain, you get more options (and more versatile options) in the RAV4.

Get Greater Ground Clearance

Ground clearance is one of the most important characteristics to examine when shopping for an adventure vehicle. When you have good ground clearance, you can drive over shallow bodies of water with confidence in knowing it won’t drown critical components of your vehicle. You can also casually cruise down trails that are littered with fallen branches or small boulders, and you can crest more sudden changes in grade. Plus, a boost in ground clearances gives you better visibility of what’s to come. Finally, there’s no denying that an elevated vehicle just looks cool.

The ground clearance discrepancy between the RAV4 and the Equinox is rather noteworthy. On some trims of the RAV4, you can get up to 8.6 inches of ground clearance. However, the most you can hope for in the Equinox is 8.0 inches. If you plan on tackling rough roads, that extra half-inch could make a difference, as it gives you the freedom to explore more terrain and can protect your vehicle’s undercarriage.

When drivers tell us they plan on going off-roading, we can’t confidently send them away in an Equinox; it has to be a RAV4.

A white 2024 Toyota RAV4 TRD is shown from the rear at an angle.

Rolling With the Right Tires

Tires are another essential element of an adventure vehicle, as they determine what sorts of terrain you can tackle (as well as what you have to avoid). The Equinox does not impress with its tires, as it just has all-season tires for each of its trims; this means it’s basically equipped to handle moderate weather on paved ground.

Meanwhile, the RAV4 has available all-terrain tires. All-terrain tires can, as their name promises, tackle all sorts of terrain. So whether that’s a muddy path, a dirt road, or sand, the all-terrain tires of the RAV4 can handle it without causing you to get stuck or spin out.

Top Towing Capacities

There’s also no denying that the RAV4 has superior towing figures compared to the Equinox. The Equinox can only tow 1,500 lbs, regardless of the trim you get. However, some RAV4 trims can tow up to 3,500 lbs. That’s more than twice the towing power of the Equinox, which means more adventure possibilities in the ways of ATVing, boating, dirt biking—you name it. You could not only pull a loaded trailer but another car!

When it comes to the world of off-roading, finding the vehicle that can ideally suit your needs can sometimes require some serious research. That’s especially true these days when many manufacturers have turned to implementing specific trims and models made especially for those who prefer to take their adventures on the road less traveled. Before you look through the specs and accessories offered by every single vehicle that’s bred for this purpose, we wanted to share some information on two vehicles that we feel would be perfectly suited for your off-roading needs.

They also happen to be part of the same brand, one that has been at the forefront of sustainability and quality for the past several decades. Of course, we’re referring to Toyota, the manufacturer of the Tacoma and 4Runner, two vehicles that are more than capable of facilitating your desire for adventure. While your destination might vastly differ from others, the first step on your journey begins with visiting Westchester Toyota. Think of us less as a Toyota dealer near Irvington and more as your outfitters for your odyssey into exploration and adventure.

Performance Preferences

Both the pickup truck and the SUV have been the favored methods of off-roading for many years. Any experienced off-roader will tell you that the performance of any vehicle is what’s essential for any expedition. As such, we’ll begin by popping the hood and taking a look at the power that each vehicle bestows upon you. The 4Runner is equipped with a single powertrain across all trim levels. This takes the form of a beefy 4.0L V6 that propels the vehicle forward with 270 hp and 278 lb-ft of torque. This engine is paired with a five-speed automatic transmission and can easily pull upwards of 5,000 lbs when properly equipped. Similar to some of the domestic SUVs that have been popular in recent years, RWD and 4WD are available, making them ideal for your adventures. The advantage of the 4Runner making use of a single powertrain means that the same amount of capability is available to anyone who seeks the vehicle out.

As for the Tacoma, there’s an advantage when it comes to the versatility that the vehicle has to offer with its powertrain. Similar to the 4Runner, the Tacoma has a single engine that is equipped with every trim across the board. A 2.4L four-cylinder is pared with an eight-speed automatic, or an optional six-speed manual transmission available exclusively on the TRD Off-Road trim. However, there are significant differences based on which trim you decide to purchase.

Allow us to take a few moments to break down these notable differences. The base trim of the Tacoma offers 228 hp, while other models are equipped with a more potent version of the iForce engine with 278 hp and the capability to generate 317 lb-ft of torque. The most capable variation of the Tacoma’s four-cylinder engine is the iForce Max, a hybrid setup that raised the output up to 326 hp and the torque to an impressive 465 lb-ft. The Tacoma is more adept at towing than the 4Runner, with a maximum rating of 6,500 lbs when properly equipped.

A blue 2024 Toyota Tacoma TRD Sport is shown from the front at an angle.

Off-Road-Specific Trims

We previously mentioned that many manufacturers have turned to making off-road-specific trims with many of their trucks and SUVs. Always one to be on the cutting edge of consumer wants and needs, Toyota is certainly no exception. The initials TRD need little explanation for those who are passionate about the Toyota brand. The “Toyota Racing Development” acronym is what designates the off-road-ready Toyota vehicles. Both the 4Runner and Tacoma have several TRD trim levels available, each of which makes notable additions that make any adventure possible.

The 4Runner offers enhanced off-road capabilities with the TRD Sport, TRD Off-Road, TRD Off-Road Premium, and the top-of-the-line TRD Pro. Each of these features comes with standard 4WD, as well as double wishbone front and multi-link rear suspension to allow you to exert control over any terrain you decide to travel. A skid plate provides undercarriage protection on rocky trails. A rear locking differential enhances traction, and shock absorbers from racing experts Fox are also included to enhance the off-road suspension’s performance. Because every off-roader needs some essential wheels to travel on, the 4Runner TRD comes with 17-inch rims and all-terrain tires. A trip computer and outside temperature gauge allow the driver to monitor conditions and ensure that your destination is reached, no matter where it might be.

The Tacoma, which was recently redesigned for the 2024 model year, is set to compete with the Chevy Colorado and Ford Ranger as the dominant midsize pickup truck. Available off-road trims include the TRD PreRunner, the TRD Sport, and the TRD Off-Road. Its TRD Off-Road trim is packed with everything you need for exploring new frontiers and conquering new terrains. Two skid plates and a customized suspension are among the usual suspects that come with any off-road-ready vehicle. Shock absorbers from Bilstein ensure that the ride ahead is comfortable, even if the ground you’re traveling is unforgiving. The size of the wheels matches the 4Runner at 17 inches and also comes with all-terrain tires, but have a different style than the 4Runner’s wheels. Automatic air conditioning and adaptive cruise control are standard, making for a comfortable experience that can also reduce driver fatigue over long distances. Also, if you prefer to row your own gears, the Tacoma TRD Off-Road is the only trim that enables this. No manual transmission is available in the 4Runner.

Which One Is Ideal for You?

Choosing the right vehicle for your next expedition can sometimes be a difficult choice. When it comes to choosing between the 4Runner and Tacoma, there are a few variables that you should consider. Because it’s an SUV, the 4Runner can be beneficial for family-oriented drivers. While the rate of your insurance premiums will vary depending on your provider, age, and driving record, SUVs tend to be less expensive to insure than pickup trucks and can be more functional when it comes to dealing with harsh weather conditions.

However, if you’re looking for a vehicle that can handle your occupational obligations and also allow you to engage in playtime on the weekends, the Tacoma will certainly be ideal. With its higher tow rating and pickup bed, getting to new locations with a few ATVs or a trailer in tow is much easier. In the end, it all comes down to personal preference and which one is ideal for your situation. No matter what you decide on, you’re going to have the gateways to adventure opened wide for you.

Your Next Adventure Awaits

Both the 4Runner and Tacoma are capable of offering you the adventure of a lifetime. You have the ability to go where roads are no longer needed, and there’s no such thing as untamable terrain. Every journey or adventure begins with a single step. Make yours today at Westchester Toyota. Not only will you find both the 4Runner and Tacoma waiting for you on our lot, but we also employ a dedicated sales team who will gladly assist you in choosing the right vehicle that perfectly fits within your budget and fulfills all of your needs, no matter what they are. A blue 2025 Toyota Camry XLE is shown from the front at an angle.

Many people consider the Camry to be Toyota’s flagship model: a midsize sedan that’s perfect for families and singles alike. This beauty provides you with a spacious interior that has made it a favorite for many drivers across numerous generations. For the 2025 model year, Toyota has redesigned the Camry with an entirely new ninth generation for this legend, leaving much behind as it rolls forward into an incredible future.

If you’re interested in learning more about the 2025 Camry at a New Rochelle Toyota dealer, then we’d humbly suggest you come by Westchester Toyota in Yonkers. While the Toyota lineup has something for everyone, the all-new, fully-redesigned Camry is hard to beat and offers an amazing experience for a wide range of drivers.

With a new look, a redesigned interior, remarkable performance, and a whole host of great features, there’s a good chance the Camry has whatever you’re looking for. To help you find what you need, we’ll take you through everything this stunning new sedan has to offer. Let’s take a look at what’s new—and what’s the same—for the 2025 Toyota Camry…

A blue 2025 Toyota Camry XLE is shown from the rear at an angle after leaving a New Rochelle Toyota dealer.

One Engine, Two Options

We can’t think of a better place to start than with the engine for the all-new, redesigned Camry, which offers fantastic performance and remarkable fuel efficiency. A hybrid engine has long been available for the Camry, but moving into the 2025 model year, it is now the go-to option.

Every ninth-generation Camry features a hybrid powertrain that delivers a fun driving experience: a 2.5L four-cylinder engine with a fifth-generation Toyota Hybrid System that features a pair of electric motors. This setup gives the engine 225-232 hp, depending on which configuration you choose for the Camry. The standard option, with 225 hp, utilizes both motors on the front axle, giving you front-wheel drive (FWD) that is beautifully balanced for a great time on the road.

For the first time ever, Toyota’s Electronic On-Demand All-Wheel Drive (AWD) system is available on every Camry model, regardless of which trim you’re interested in. This setup puts one motor on the rear wheels, giving you 232 hp and remarkable AWD performance that is an absolute pleasure to drive. While a FWD model is a great choice, we prefer AWD for dealing with rough weather in New Rochelle, especially snowy winters with slushy roads.

Gorgeous Inside and Out

From the moment you first see the all-new Camry, it’s clear that Toyota has been working overtime on this gorgeous ride. The ninth-generation Camry has been designed by Toyota’s studios in California and Michigan, creating a sleek and athletic ride that looks stunning from the moment you set eyes on it.

Slim LED headlights are highly functional and stylish, with a sleek roofline that grabs your eye and never lets go. 18-inch wheels are standard, while available 19-inch wheels provide an even more powerful look. Classic exterior color options like Ice Cap, Wind Chill Pearl, and Midnight Black Metallic are still available, joined by new options such as Ocean Gem and Heavy Metal to provide more gorgeous colors to choose from.

Inside, the redesigned interior is a work of art on wheels, surrounding you with a gorgeous and spacious area that is functional and stylish. Sport trims for the Camry include SofTex-trimmed seating with bold white accents paired with Boulder or Black upholstery colors, while a leather-trimmed interior is available in Cockpit Red or Black with blue details.

Comfort trims, on the other hand, feature fabric seat surfaces with embossed patterns inspired by ocean waves, also offered in Boulder or Black. Toyota’s engineers have even changed the shape and density of the cushions in the all-new Camry to make the seats more comfortable. You can also get heated and ventilated front seats for added comfort because there’s nothing quite like a heated seat in the morning during a New Rochelle winter.

Functional and Tech Savvy

It’s been interesting to see how technology has revolutionized the driving experience. While some tech features can be purely for show or even bragging rights, there are plenty of modern touches that are highly functional and make life easier each day.

For example, every 2025 Camry comes standard with a smart key with push-to-start functionality, making it easy to just get in and hit the road. Dual-zone automatic climate control is standard on every model, while available features include automatic rain-sensing windshield wipers, memory settings for the driver’s seat and side mirrors, and more. For an exceptional view when driving around New Rochelle, there’s an available power tilt and slide panoramic roof.

The redesigned interior features a standard 7.0-inch digital gauge cluster along with an 8.0-inch infotainment display. While those are great, we’d suggest going with the available 12.3-inch fully digital gauge cluster and 12.3-inch upgraded infotainment system. Other upgrades include a 10.0-inch Head-Up Display that lets you keep an eye on warning indicators, turn-by-turn directions, and other info while staying focused on the road.

You can get a Qi wireless charging pad, which makes it easy to keep compatible devices fully charged, while an available nine-speaker JBL Premium Audio system elevates your drive each day even further. This collection of features makes your daily commute easier and more enjoyable than ever before.

Fantastic Safety Technology

We love powerful hybrid engineering and comfortable seating just as much as anyone else, but nothing is more important than the safety features of a vehicle. You could have the biggest touchscreen imaginable, but if your car can’t help keep you safe, then what does it matter? That’s why we’re so excited to see Toyota Safety Sense 3.0 come standard on every 2025 Camry model, so you know it will help keep you and your loved ones safe on the road.

This suite includes a Pre-Collision System with Pedestrian Detection to help you avoid a collision, plus Full-Speed Range Dynamic Radar Cruise Control that makes your daily drive or long road trips much easier. Standard safety tech also includes a Lane Departure Alert with Steering Assist and Lane Tracing Assist to help you stay centered and avoid drifting from your lane, plus Road Sign Assist and Automatic High Beams.

If you want to take the safety of your vehicle even further, then available Driver Assistance features include Traffic Jam Assist, which can reduce stress when you’re stuck in stop-and-go traffic, as well as a Front-Cross Traffic Alert. You can also get a Panoramic View Monitor that gives you a virtual view around your vehicle when maneuvering at low speeds, plus more features like a Blind Spot Monitor. All of this comes together to make the 2025 Toyota Camry one of the safest vehicles on the road.

The brown interior of a 2025 Toyota Crown Signia is shown from the driver's side.

What Is the 2025 Toyota Crown Signia?

We should start with the basics since this is a model that we’ve never seen before. The Crown Signia is a stunning new midsize SUV joining the Toyota lineup, essentially taking the place of the previously available Venza as a two-row SUV for you to enjoy. Looking at the greater Toyota lineup, the Crown Signia should slot in nicely between the smaller RAV4 and the three-row Toyota Highlander. This creates a remarkable new option for getting around New Rochelle and enjoying your time off.

It’s always exciting to see Toyota reveal a new option, but with the Crown Signia, we really get to see them do what they do best. Here, we have a vehicle that brings together gorgeous style, sophisticated design, and stunning engineering to create a transformative driving experience. Just looking at the standard features, it’s clear that Toyota has held nothing back with this beauty and created a worthy new addition to the growing Crown lineup—but why do we care that this is a “Crown” model? Well…

What Does It Mean to Be a Crown Model?

The original Toyota Crown has been available since 1955 and is one of the models that established Toyota as a major automotive manufacturer. It was the first Japanese car to be released in America, hitting our market in 1958 and marking Toyota as a deliverer of quality and design. About 50 years ago, however, Toyota discontinued the Crown here in the US and focused on other models for our shores instead.

That all changed recently with the release of the Toyota Crown sedan for the 2023 model year, bringing a royal four-door back to America. We were excited to see the Crown finally come back, and its return has continued to thrill thanks to a richly appointed interior, quick acceleration, nimble handling, and much more. This initial excitement hasn’t had a chance to fade, yet Toyota is already adding to this lineup with a first-ever Crown Signia, setting the stage for a growing selection of innovative vehicles. So, what does the Crown Signia bring to the road that has us so excited? Let’s see…

Bold Performance and Engineering

As a Toyota dealership, of course, we nerd out over things like the return of the Crown nameplate to the US, but we know that’s not something that gets every driver fired up. What should get you fired up is a fantastic driving experience, which is exactly what the 2025 Toyota Crown Signia has to offer. Every model comes with a 2.5L four-cylinder engine that delivers 243 hp thanks to a pair of electric motors and excellent hybrid engineering.

This hybrid design is set to get fuel economy ratings of 36 MPG combined, based on Toyota’s testing and estimates, creating a driving experience that is incredibly rewarding. Perhaps best of all, however, is that every model features Toyota’s Electronic On-Demand All-Wheel Drive, with a dedicated rear motor that provides you with extra traction when you need it. This is perfect for driving around New Rochelle in the rain or when there’s snow and slush on the ground, keeping you in control even when the road is treacherous.

Gorgeous, Functional Cabin

From the outside, the Crown Signia is stunning, with a sleek design and strong curves that immediately have your eyes tracing its shape and form—not to mention available 21-inch wheels. And yet, the interior is arguably the star of the show, thanks to an incredible combination of soft-touch materials and sophisticated details. You’ll find two rows of spacious and comfortable seating inside this new Toyota, giving you and your passengers plenty of room to stretch out in.

Moderate bolsters on the seats cradle you and your front passenger comfortably, while available high-quality leather-trimmed seating delivers a gorgeous look and feel. Toyota provides standard eight-way power-adjustable front seats, both driver and passenger, with heated and ventilated front seats available that are perfect for New Rochelle winters and an available fixed glass panoramic roof for a remarkable experience every time you hit the road.

Innovative Tech in Every Model

One of our favorite things about the auto industry is that innovative tech keeps getting better. Displays for the gauges and infotainment system have become standard features, yet you’ll often find small screens that can be hard to read. Toyota doesn’t do that, as the 2025 Crown Signia comes with a 12.3-inch Multi-Information Display (MID) for the driver and a second 12.3-inch infotainment screen with the latest Toyota Audio Multimedia system.

This massive MID is highly customizable and offers preferences for how information is displayed, so you can easily keep an eye on it. The massive infotainment screen looks fantastic and supports Over-the-Air updates to keep your system on the cutting edge. A digital rearview mirror is available to provide you with a clear view behind your vehicle, while an available 11-speaker JBL Premium sound system delivers an incredible audio experience.

A grey 2025 Toyota Crown Signia is shown from the rear.

Exquisite Safety Technology

For decades, Toyota has made some of the safest vehicles on the road, and this remarkable tradition continues with the Crown Signia. Every model comes with Toyota Safety Sense 3.0 standard, which includes a wide range of driver assistance technology.

You’ll find a Pre-Collision System with Pedestrian Detection on every model, along with a Lane Departure Alert with Steering Assist and Lane Tracing Assist to help you stay in your lane. Full-Speed Range Dynamic Radar Cruise Control is included, plus Road Sign Assist, Automatic High Beams, and more. Extra options like a Blind Spot Monitor with Rear Cross-Traffic Alert and a Panoramic View Monitor to give you a virtual look around your vehicle are also available to help get you home safely every day.

Ready to Be Treated Like Royalty in New Rochelle?

You can see why we’re so excited to get behind the wheel of the Crown Signia and experience everything it has to offer. This is just based on the early information Toyota has released; we haven’t even had the chance to fully explore everything it will deliver. Midsize SUVs are some of our favorite vehicles, delivering a great middle way between compact and full-size models, so we’re always happy to see something new to meet our needs.

The Toyota Crown was one of our favorites for a long time and we’ve missed it in recent years, so seeing it return and now be joined by a completely new vehicle is all we could’ve asked for. At this point, one thing is clear: Toyota is ready to provide you with a regal driving experience beyond anything else on the road.

As the return-to-office movement goes into full swing and companies welcome back their employees on-site, the dreaded commute has returned, but with some differences—and, in some cities, rush hour seems to never end. Indeed, anyone who has driven in a major metro recently will agree (albeit through gritted teeth) that it can take half an hour to drive ten miles on the interstate in the late morning or the middle of the afternoon.

With our hectic modern living, drivers looking for a Toyota dealer near Ardsley come to us for their ideal commuter vehicle—a true companion for the rush hour rumble—knowing that Toyota boasts a lineup of models that are ideal for the hustle and bustle. If you’re looking for a fuel efficiency champ, a luxurious cabin to make the outside chaos seem far away, a full suite of driver assistance features, or all-wheel drive for messy roads, we’re sure we can pair you with the perfect choice.

Hybrid Commuter Cars

For many commuters, fuel efficiency is a high priority—or even the top priority. Some of the most stingy fuel-sippers on the market are hybrids, and Toyota has one of the largest selections of hybrid vehicles of any manufacturer. Let’s take a look at a few…

Corolla Hybrid: The beloved Corolla has been a mainstay of the Toyota fleet for generations, selling millions in the US over the years. Its hybrid version combines one of the lowest base prices for any hybrid vehicle—just north of $23k—with an impressive combined city/highway fuel economy of 50 MPG. With 138 hp, it has more than enough oomph for merging onto busy freeways, and available Electronic On-Demand All-Wheel Drive (eAWD) makes commuting safer when the roads get tricky. With optional features like 18-inch alloy wheels and a fully connected Toyota Audio Multimedia system, it offers style and luxury that once would have been impossible to find on a compact commuter car.

Corolla Cross Hybrid: The Corolla Cross Hybrid shares the “Corolla” name with its famous sedan sibling, but it’s a crossover SUV that combines the best features of a small car and a larger SUV. Starting just shy of $28k, the Corolla Cross Hybrid is very well-priced for a hybrid SUV while still offering a combined city/highway fuel economy rating of 42 MPG from its 196-hp hybrid powertrain. AWD is standard, while special trim packages like the Nightshade edition (with its glossy black alloy wheels) can help it stand out in the crowd.

Camry Hybrid: The hybrid version of the venerable Camry sedan starts just south of $29k and delivers a combined 52 MPG for your commuting budget. Even the base LE trim offers near-luxury levels of standard equipment, such as dual-zone climate control. There is also a Nightshade edition of the Camry, although in this case, it has stunning bronze alloy wheels and blacked-out trim. For some families, the Camry Hybrid just may be the perfect vehicle.

Crown: One of the newer members of Toyota’s lineup, the Crown doesn’t need “hybrid” added to its name because every Crown boasts a hybrid powertrain. Starting at $40k, it occupies the luxury spot in Toyota’s sedan lineup, and yet it delivers a combined fuel economy rating of up to 41 MPG. Every Crown also comes standard with AWD to go with its pulse-quickening 340 hp. The Crown’s sharp, muscular style is complemented by available two-tone exterior paint like the bronze-and-black color scheme, which looks like absolutely nothing else on the road. This car is a true beauty, inside and out.

Prius: You may know it as the grand-daddy of hybrid cars, but the current model Prius (starting somewhere north of $27k) looks young and stunning with edgy, race-inspired futuristic looks. It has the performance to back up its looks, too, with a zero-to-sixty time as low as 7.0 seconds in the AWD model—and yet, it still gets a combined 57 MPG! You can step up to the plug-in hybrid Prius Prime (starting somewhere north of $32k), too, and enjoy an astounding 127 MPGe when driving fully electric. With 44 miles of all-electric range, you may almost never need to gas up the Prius Prime if you have a short commute.

Trucks and SUVs

If you are looking for fuel economy champs, you’ll probably want one of the hybrid sedans listed above. However, if you need more passenger or cargo room, or you enjoy the view of the road from a higher-positioned driver’s seat, you’ll be glad to know that almost every SUV in Toyota’s lineup is available in a hybrid version. This includes the RAV4, Highlander, and Grand Highlander SUVs, as well as the Tundra pickup. There are also several hybrid-only SUVs—including the Venza, the Sequoia, and the re-released Land Cruiser—and one hybrid-only minivan, the Sienna.

A red 2023 Toyota Corolla is shown from the front at an angle.

Non-Hybrid Sedans and Hatchbacks

With so many hybrid options, it might be tempting to overlook the gasoline-only models in Toyota’s stable. However, gas-powered cars have plenty of advantages; for instance, they tend to have lower price points than their hybrid versions, and their highway fuel economy is sometimes only a little bit lower than the highway fuel economy of hybrid models.

This is because hybrid models actually get better mileage in the city than on the highway in general due to regenerative braking, which charges their batteries as you drive. As a result, on the highway, some economy-minded gas-only cars are almost as efficient as some hybrids. So, if your commute features a lot of highway miles, these may be the perfect cars for you.

Corolla: The Corolla has long been arguably the best small car sold anywhere. (More than 50 million buyers worldwide in 50 years can’t be wrong.) For 2024, it starts very low—under $22k—and yet offers sharp modern styling, Toyota Safety Sense 3.0, and up to 41 MPG on the highway and 35 MPG combined. A full set of connectivity features and optional two-tone exterior trim packages make the Corolla anything but a base model.

Corolla Hatchback: This snazzy hatchback sibling of the Corolla sedan starts at a slightly higher price point (above $23k) but offers the extra convenience of a hatchback cargo area along with a sportier driving dynamic. For instance, its Drive Mode Select features let you choose Sport Drive Mode, which enables you to change gears manually with paddle shifters—and this model’s 2.0-liter Dynamic Force engine offers the power to match. Even still, it gets up to 41 MPG on the highway.

Camry: Along with the smaller Corolla, the midsize Camry is a mainstay of Toyota’s sedan lineup. Starting north of $26k, it offers bold, race-inspired styling and an interior designed for extra comfort on long drives. An optional 301-hp V6 engine and available sport-tuned suspension can transform the Camry from a family car to a muscle car while still being perfect for your family—or you can stick with the base 2.5-liter four-cylinder and get up to 39 MPG on the highway.

A Range of Commuting Options

Toyota has a wide range of fuel-efficient models, but your commuting needs may be more specific than most. Just to give one example, if you need a commuter vehicle that can also tow your boat to the lake on weekends, the Highlander SUV—with its 29 MPG highway rating and its 5,000-lb towing capacity—may be perfect for you. So don’t hesitate to let your Toyota sales professional know exactly what you want because we can guarantee that we’ll find the perfect vehicle to match it!

A silver 2023 Toyota bZ4X is shown from the front at an angle.

It’s a unique time for the auto industry—particularly with the continuing developments of electric vehicles (EVs). Most automakers are employing electricity as they craft the next generation of exciting and economical options for drivers. The 2023 Toyota bZ4X is one such option. Toyota first proved its adeptness at providing economical transportation during the energy crisis of the 1970s, at a time when many domestic manufacturers were still producing vehicles that were big on performance and skimped on items such as fuel economy and practicality. Just as they had done several years ago, Toyota has again applied its dedication and craftsmanship to produce a vehicle that checks all of the boxes regarding consumer needs.

This all-electric SUV is perfect for those who want to travel far without stopping for constant refills. At Westchester Toyota, we aim to provide our customers with high-quality vehicles, so if you’re looking for a Toyota dealer near Ardsley, we should be your first stop. The bZ4X is an excellent vehicle for Ardsley drivers due to its environmentally friendly powertrain and numerous features that make it perfect for this quaint, suburban area.

A silver 2023 Toyota bZ4X is shown from the side on a city street.

An Agreeable Price for Exceptional Quality

The market for all-electric SUVs is growing exponentially, and this rapid expansion has brought many options to consumers. Many drivers study prices before taking test drives or even considering whether or not the vehicle is ideal for them. Fortunately, the bZ4X is priced less than some of its most notable competitors, such as the Ford Mustang Mach-E and the Kia EV6. Competitive pricing is certainly appealing to the average consumer, and with Toyota’s reputation for retaining its resale value over lengthy periods of time, there’s no wonder that this is one investment you’ll certainly want to make. A considerate up-front cost and the capacity to save money on fuel are something that Ardsley drivers will undoubtedly benefit from.

Home on the EV Range

In the EV market, the critical numbers to look for have much less to do with horsepower and more to do with how far the vehicle can travel on a full charge and how adaptable it is in different driving environments. If you live in Ardsley, you don’t have to go far to get across town; its accessible roadways are relatively easy to navigate for work, play, or otherwise. If you want to travel further—into the city or the wilderness—the bZ4X is equipped to take you there.

Like many electrified SUVs, the Toyota bZ4X comes standard with front-wheel drive powered by a single motor. Even if you don’t prioritize road strength, Toyota still delivers with 201 hp. In all-wheel drive, the bZ4X is powered by two electric motors, which raises your road strength slightly to 214 hp—and one can’t deny the effectiveness of AWD during the winter months.

The range of the bZ4X varies on its drivetrain, with the FWD version getting 252 miles on a single charge and the FWD version getting 252 miles. Depending on how far and how often you drive, you could manage with only one full charge a week, which is much more efficient than multiple trips to the pump in comparable gasoline-fueled SUVs. Not only is the bZ4X a cost-cutting vehicle, but it’s a wonderful way to go green and do your part to be more environmentally responsible.

Despite the major leaps forward with EVs in recent years, some manufacturers such as Ford and Chevy have continued to emphasize horsepower and performance more than practicality. In a world where the price of fuel is continually unpredictable, Toyota has once again proved that its designs are meant to be economical and beneficial for the average driver instead of pushing items on them that aren’t necessary.

Style and Comfort

Ardsley is a beautiful community that’s retained its charm and small-town feel over the years, and the drivers here prefer vehicles that are satisfying to the senses. The bZ4X is appealing, both inside and out, with a unique shape and a two-toned color scheme that immediately catches the eye. We are particularly impressed with how it combines the features of a crossover with those of a hatchback to create something truly distinctive.

Toyota has always been known for its impressive design, and it shows in the bZ4X’s refined and sophisticated interior layout. All models come with a 12.3-inch infotainment screen that sits above a center console with a wireless charging dock for compatible smartphones. This symmetrical and sharp layout perfectly embodies Toyota’s technology-driven approach. Standard features include Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and built-in navigation.

Perhaps the most attractive upgrade is the available nine-speaker stereo system from JBL, which appeals to the audiophile in everyone. This model’s prudent rear end makes loading and unloading easy, with 27.7 cu.ft. of storage that—when the back row is folded down—can expand to 56.9 cu.ft., which is about double the storage capacity of the typical four-door sedan.

Safety and Driver Assistance

Whether you’re a resident of Ardsley or elsewhere in Westchester County, one thing we can all agree on is safety. In addition to a reputation as one of the most sustainable and trusted brands on the market, Toyota has also demonstrated consistency in providing safe, reliable, and trustworthy vehicles. The bZ4X is one more notch in proving that Toyota is the very best in this field.

The bZ4X is packed with many standard safety features thanks to the Star Safety System, and it boasts a strong suite of standard driving assistance features courtesy of the Toyota Safety Sense 3.0. In an age where proactive measures are sometimes confined to upper trims and steep price tags, Toyota takes the initiative to offer more across the board. Many features that have gained prominence in recent years include a Pre-Collision System with Pedestrian Detection.

More advanced features include Lane Tracing Assist and Dynamic Radar Cruise Control. All are essential for navigating Ardsley and the long stretches of highway driving that Westchester residents engage in regularly. This is certainly par for the course when it comes to Toyota’s reputation, as they’ve continually been praised throughout the years as a brand that is just as adept at keeping its drivers safe as it is in sustainability and impressive fuel economy.

Check Out the Toyota bZ4X Today

When it comes to the 2023 Toyota bZ4X, there’s quite a bit to be excited about. Not only has Toyota found a way to harness electricity to power their newest SUV, but the countless advantages that one reaps are almost too numerous to mention. The bZ4X is priced better than some of its most notable competitors, and it also allows you to bypass the pump, making it economical for the modern driver.

A blue 2019 Toyota Corolla is shown parked near a store.

Whether it was our first ride or a friend’s car, we have all experienced that awkward situation where we have to stuff ourselves into a seat and be incredibly close to the person next to us. Some cars can really only be comfortable if you’re driving alone. But we don’t have to concern ourselves with those tiny, barely passable vehicles anymore—not if we find the right used Toyota for sale. So, let’s explore how a car’s cabin size is just as important as its price and features, and we’ll highlight those sedans, trucks, and SUVs that respect your need for personal space.

The Average Interior or Something More Spacious?

When it comes to small cars, sedans are usually the first option to consider. They are designed for easy handling and are commonly used by commuters and first-time drivers due to their affordable cost and smooth ride. However, it is worth noting that some sedans are limited in interior space. The average cabin size of a sedan is approximately 120 cu.ft., which includes the cargo hold. Let’s compare two of Toyota’s most popular sedans—the Corolla and Camry—to determine which one offers more comfort.

When it comes to buying a used Corolla, the 2019 model year is considered the best. The 2014 Corolla received a facelift, particularly in its interior, to make it more spacious and luxurious than previous models, making it competitive against other sedans. However, the 2014 model year is the least reliable among the 2014-2019 generation. While you need not avoid the 2014 model, it’s best to exercise caution when making such an investment, as you’ll get far more for your dollar when you get closer to 2019.

The 2019 Toyota Corolla is a practical compact ride with excellent fuel economy, getting an EPA-estimated 28 MPG in the city and 36 MPG on the highway. Its trunk can store luggage and small boxes with a max of 13.0 cu.ft. This is only a minor drop from the 15.4 cu.ft. of trunk space that the midsize 2019 Camry sports. Not only does the Camry seat five people even more comfortably, but it also manages stronger fuel economy ratings, with an EPA-estimated 29 MPG in the city and 41 MPG on the highway. While there is enough legroom in both the Camry and Corolla for rear-seat passengers, you’ll still find more in Toyota’s SUV segment.

A red 2023 Toyota Sequoia is shown driving on a road near a house.

Bigger Is Better

The Toyotas with the most interior space are the 2023 Sequoia, 2023 4Runner, 2022 Toyota Highlander, and the 2023 Sienna. While you will still be spending a pretty penny for a used vehicle as recent as 2023, the space alone is worth it. For example, our first model—the 2023 Sequoia, a full-size SUV—sports a total of 86.9 cu.ft. of cargo space, or at least 22.3 cu.ft. when all the rows are left upright. As a three-row family hauler, it can seat eight people comfortably. To give you the utmost roomy feel, one feature that really stands out is the panoramic moonroof, which brings a bit of the outside inside to soothe those with claustrophobia.

Not to mention, you can stay connected with an extravagant 14.0-inch touchscreen display that boasts connectivity via Apple CarPlay and Android Auto with compatible smartphones; these are especially helpful for using maps, receiving messages and alerts, or picking your next favorite tune or podcast. You can even go as far back as the 2011 model year for a touchscreen display and backup cameras for easy parking and maneuvering. However, keep in mind that the more recent the model year, the better advancements in technology you will get. If you want to go slightly cheaper, you can also check the 2022 model year for essentially the same vehicle but less generously endowed.

The 2023 4Runner runs slightly cheaper on the used market, depending on your trim and packages. This midsize model was awarded the “Best Resale Value” by Kelley Blue Book (for the eleventh year in a row), so you’re almost guaranteed it’ll feel new even with a previous owner. This splendid, spacious model provides a luxurious design with leather seating and embroidered logos, as well as wood-inspired accents that give a cozy feel. However, its moonroof is a tad smaller than that of the Sequoia but has a slightly bigger cargo hold at 89.7 cu.ft. in two-row models or 88.8 cu.ft. in three-row models (or, with all the seats up, 47.2 cu.ft. or 9.0 cu.ft. for cargo, respectively). The 4Runner is definitely an option to consider if you are looking for something with a strong value on the used market.

The 2022 Toyota Highlander is a larger-than-life SUV able to hold up to eight people. This adventurous model has plenty of room for storage with a max of 84.3 cu.ft., and it’s super accessible with a hands-free liftgate for easy packing and assistance when your hands are full. If you don’t need to be configured for an intensive cargo trip and perhaps are preparing a weekend getaway that fills all the seats with excited family members or friends, then you will still get 16 cu.ft. of space behind the third row—and that should be enough for all your luggage! In the cockpit, you’ll have a responsive 8.0-inch infotainment touchscreen display equipped with Amazon Alexa, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and Bluetooth compatibility. The Highlander is a great choice for those who are looking for a reliable and spacious used SUV.

The 2023 Sienna is an unstoppable minivan with 101.0 cu.ft. of cargo space (or at least 33.5 cu.ft. when all the rows are left upright), yet it is one of the cheaper options in Toyota’s lineup. This minivan can seat up to seven people, allowing for plenty of legroom, as well as adjustable rear seats and built-in ottomans for the second row. With an available hands-free liftgate and sliding side doors, packing into this vehicle has never been easier. What you can do with a little more space is amazing. Its hybrid powertrain nets you 245 hp and a combined 36 MPG in front-wheel drive; this is an outstanding fuel economy figure, especially for a minivan. The 2023 Sienna is a well-rounded family vehicle for those who want a powerful engine, a spacious interior, and excellent fuel efficiency.

A popular used Toyota for sale, an orange 2023 Toyota 4Runner TRD Pro, is shown parked off-road.

The Benefits of a Roomier Car

If we are traveling long distances or need to carry a lot on the road, we want the most room possible—not only for convenience but for comfort. However, have you ever considered the health benefits of driving a car that offers this much comfort? Not having enough legroom can lead to aches and pains and contribute to deep vein thrombosis. It’s recommended to have at least 43 inches of legroom for the optimal healthy driving experience. It also helps to keep your knees higher than your hips, which—depending on your height—is impossible in some cars. Keep these factors in mind when considering your next used car.

In the End, What Do You Want?

It’s imperative to consider what you need in a reliable, used Toyota—especially when it comes to cabin space. While you can find roomy sedans like the Corolla and Camry, some sizes of family or qualities of extracurricular activities necessitate a vehicle of much greater size, like the Sequoia, 4Runner, Highlander, or Sienna. So take a look at each one and try them on for size; maybe you’ll fall in love.

A popular used Toyota for sale, a red 2023 Toyota Corolla, is shown driving.

Very few brands have amassed the reputation and accolades that Toyota has. From the moment the first few exports arrived on American shores in the 1950s, this fleet has been one worth praising. Toyota has consistently provided the public with sustainable, fuel-efficient vehicles that are—above all else—of the finest quality in engineering.

We take great pride in our brand here at Westchester Toyota. Whether you’re in the market for a new or used Toyota for sale, we guarantee there’s something perfectly suited for your everyday needs. To illustrate this point, let’s take a look at Toyota’s contemporary lineup and how each vehicle could fit into your lifestyle.

Toyota’s Sedans

While some manufacturers have refocused their efforts and restricted or ceased production of sedans, coupes, and sports cars, Toyota has remained steadfast in providing these options to its drivers.

The Corolla

The Corolla has long been Toyota’s flagship commuter vehicle and one of the most affordable sedans on the market. Known for being an economical investment and staying roadworthy for hundreds of thousands of miles, the Corolla is further made brilliant with a multitude of safety features and an optional hybrid powertrain for those who are keen on saving on annual fuel costs.

The Camry

The older sibling of the Corolla, the Toyota Camry has been one of the most sought-after vehicles on the road, year after year. One of the few sedans to retain an optional V6 engine, the Camry can be configured for those drivers strictly looking for a means to commute or for those who favor some extra chutzpah. Four doors, six cylinders, and endless possibilities? Sounds good to us!

The GR Corolla

Don’t be misled by the title. While the GR Corolla might share a namesake with its economic sibling, it’s a vehicle built for performance and packed to the brim with excitement. Proving that the Honda Civic isn’t the only exciting compact in town anymore, a 300-hp turbocharged three-cylinder engine and a six-speed manual transmission pair together to deliver the ideal driving experience.

The GR Supra

For those fans of sports cars that were popular in the 1980s and high-performance vehicles, the Toyota Supra needs very little introduction, competing against the European sports cars that make their way across the Atlantic. It can be equipped with either a four- or six-cylinder engine, and the latter can be paired with a six-speed manual transmission, which should be more than enough to fulfill your racecar driver dreams—and, since it can get from zero to sixty in a mere 4.7 seconds, you’ll have no problem ruling the road.

The Prius

While finding a hybrid vehicle isn’t exactly difficult these days, there once was a time when the options were few and far between—and this entire segment would not have become popular so early on were it not for the Prius. The recently redesigned Prius has some exciting new curves to match its fuel efficiency. Getting a stellar 57 MPG in the city, drivers can go farther for less and now look stylish while doing so.

The Prius Prime

If you’re impressed with the Prius but feel there’s substantial room for improvement, say no more. The Prius Prime builds on the design of its namesake and adds more to its performance. Two electric motors and a four-cylinder engine deliver 160 hp and 50 MPG in the city. A host of standard features—including adaptive cruise control—make for a commute that has something for everyone.

Toyota’s SUVs

The SUV is the most popular auto class today. Available in a variety of sizes, the SUV has gained a reputation as the ideal family-friendly vehicle and is just as common as four-door sedans were two decades ago. As is to be expected, Toyota has been integral in offering designs that fulfill the needs of any driver.

The Corolla Cross

As it shares a namesake with Toyota’s popular compact sedan, the Corolla Cross is the ideal SUV for those who need a little extra room and want a lot more features. Competing against the likes of the Chevy Trax, Kia Soul, and Hyundai Kona, the Corolla Cross offers exceptional fuel economy with 31 MPG in the city and 33 MPG on the highway and is also packed with a host of safety features that the modern family will love.

The Venza

If there’s one word that can properly describe the Toyota Venza, it’s exclusive. This vehicle is strictly hybrid and equipped with AWD. A step up against some of the offerings from Subaru, the Venza is suited for the city dweller who enjoys traversing trails in their downtime. With 40 MPG in the city, your adventures and commute will benefit from its exceptional fuel economy.

The RAV4

The RAV4 is one of Toyota’s most popular vehicles, in production for three decades. Compact with a punchy four-cylinder engine, the RAV4 can handle the city limits and hostile terrains alike with ease. Its ideal size will certainly appeal to drivers who are in the market for a subcompact or crossover SUV, and its 28 MPG combined (for 25 MPG in the city and 32 MPG on the highway) makes for an economical choice.

The 4Runner

The 4Runner is where we transition from smaller SUVs to larger options for those who need more. Likewise growing, the 4Runner’s engine comes with six cylinders instead of four, and its 270 hp and 5,000 lb-towing capacity make it just as effective as a workhorse as it is a family hauler.

The Highlander

When it comes to the midsize SUV, Toyota has some stiff competition, like the Ford Bronco and Mazda CX-90. However, the Highlander has remained one of the best options on the market. Powered by a four-cylinder engine and a CVT, it’s the perfect combination of strength and fuel economy that many families gravitate toward.

The Sequoia

One of the largest SUVs that Toyota manufactures, the newest edition of the Sequoia promises to deliver a unique blend of size and efficiency, thanks to a new powertrain. Although this SUV is big enough for eight people, the EPA estimates it gets 22 MPG combined (for 21 MPG in the city and 24 MPG on the highway). With plenty of space, seating, and savviness, this is the ideal SUV for a full-sized family on a budget.

Toyota’s Trucks

The pickup truck is commonly associated with domestic brands like Ford, Chevy, and Ram. However, Toyota has proven time and time again that they’re just as capable of delivering on the high expectations of truck enthusiasts with their unique selection.

The Tacoma

The compact pickup segment packs a fair amount of competition, and the Toyota Tacoma is the long-awaited answer to models like the Ford Ranger and Chevy Colorado, proving once and for all that big things can come from small packages. A highly adaptable four-cylinder powertrain and a towing capacity of 6,000 lbs make the Tacoma a vital instrument, both on the road and off it.

The Tundra

If the competition is fierce for the compact pickup segment, imagine what happens when a brand has to go toe-to-toe with the F-150 and Silverado 1500! The Toyota Tundra has consistently demonstrated its worth; with a ten-speed automatic transmission and a towing capacity of 12,000 lbs, it’s one mighty workhorse that anyone can rely on.
