Joe Ribaudo’s Transamerica Bike Tour for Our Bravest is the fundraiser putting smiles on the faces of the Westchester Toyota family.

Yonkers, New York — BRAM Auto Group graciously donated $8,000 to the Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers Foundation this past April of 2017. The dealerships knew that the Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers Foundation was a special one. However, they’re finding out more about the charity that makes them even happier for contributing. The foundation is holding a fundraiser called Joe Ribaudo’s Transamerica Bike Tour for Our Bravest. It’s a bicycle ride across America with a goal to raise awareness of and money for the foundation.

The bicycle rid59109d112543c_375x375e is meant to support the charity’s goal. Its goal is to honor Firefighter Stephen Siller, who sacrificed his own life for the sake of others on September 11, 2001. Siller’s shift had ended when he received news of the Twin Tower attack. He immediately let his family know that he’d catch up with them later, as he felt it was his duty to hurry to the scene. Siller gave up his life, a beautiful family and friends that day. The Foundation aims to regard Stephen Siller’s act of greatness as a reminder to do good in the world. Joe Ribaudo’s Transamerica Bike Tour for Our Bravest will honor not only Stephen Siller, but all of the brave men and women who sacrifice for our country.

The bicycle ride is a 12-week adventure that begins in Yorktown, Virginia and ends in Astoria, Oregon. Joe Ribaudo said that it’ll be a challenge dealing with fatigue, weather conditions, wildlife and the need to find food, water and shelter every day. But he is extremely motivated and joyful to support such a cause, as he feels it’s most appropriate to ride across the country for the people who fight to defend it.BRAM LOGO

“Words can’t describe how much we admire this foundation and all that they do. We feel fortunate to have been able to donate to the charity and wish them the best of luck with this fundraiser,” said General Manager Rich Prager of Westchester Toyota, BRAM Auto Group.
